Biography

Piero Venesia was born in Turin on 29 December 2000.

After the first years of his training, he enrolled in the “Circolo Amici della Magia” of Turin, one of the most prestigious illusionist clubs in Italy and in the world, where in recent years he held a members-only course. He specializes here in the field of 'close up', a particular way of presenting illusionism in which the distance between the audience and the performer is reduced to a minimum, and he stages this type of show throughout Italy.

In 2020, during the pandemic, he created What’s left, an online show designed to give spectators the opportunity to actively participate in the performance, allowing them to create illusions directly from home thanks to some objects received by mail.

Piero is part of the cast of some productions of the Itaca Teatro group in Turin, directed by Marco Alotto, including Shakespeare's "The Tempest" and Goethe's "Faust". He also acts for the Treno della Memoria association, which from 2021 has seen him on stage in Krakow every year, with the shows Reunion by Fred Uhlman and Bent by Martin Sherman, as well as numerous readings in the Krakow ghetto and several performances inside concentration camps in Poland.
